Your Del Sol Service Committee would like to present an opportunity to help local nonprofits who serve the youth programs in our community. Join us to participate in Pancakes on the Plaza with Rotary Santa Fe on Thursday July 04, 2019. Proceeds from the event are given to not-for-profit organizations selected by the Santa Fe club. For your convenience, we will have a passenger van available for transportation to and from the event. We will leave the Lowes parking lot on Paseo del Norte and I25 at exactly 5:15 am on the 4th. We hope to return to Albuquerque before noon. Come help provide education, counseling, mentoring and support for the youth of our community!

Speaker - Jessica Corley Jessica Corley, M.Ed. is one of 5 Site Coordinators in the Albuquerque area providing relief and assistance to Asylum Seeking Families passing through Albuquerque on the way to their Sponsor’s homes throughout the Country. Jessica will present a brief overview on the meaning of Asylum, the changing landscape for Asylum Seeking and why this is so different from the past. Communities, mostly Faith-based, throughout the I-25 Corridor have responded with volunteers, financial donations and other resources to help deal with the humanitarian crisis on our Border with Mexico. |
