On September 5 at the Regular Thursday Meeting, the three finalist Charities for the 2020 Governors Ball made presentations to the membership. Beth Lyle spoke on behalf of New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.

The final presenters were Chris Shelby and Carol Sharpe speaking on behalf of the new intake center project for Greater Southwest Council, Boy Scouts of America.
After the presentations the members voted and selected the Boy Scouts project as the beneficiary for Rotary Del Sol for the Governors Charity Ball for New Mexico Children for 2020 which will be held at Sandia Resort and Casino in April 2020.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 5:00PM at U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union the Rotary Del Sol Foundation will hold its Bimonthly Board Meeting. All Red Badge Members are invited to attend as part of their Blue Badge requirements.
On Thursday, at the Regular morning meeting the guest speaker will be Tim Cummins of Rio Real Estate giving an update on the Los Lunas Railyards Project.
