1. Below is the information that each of you as Club members need to vote for your two top charities (voting form below). If you are receiving this Bulletin and you are not a member of the Club, please do not vote. We urge all Active Members as well as our Honorary Members to vote. Please make sure to vote by Tuesday midnight so we can determine if we need to have a runoff or not.
First, we have the recordings from our past two Club meetings when the presentations were made. Make sure to enter the password below the hyperlink to access the videos.
Here is the link to the presentations from Kit Turpen (Casa Angelica) and Tony Pino (Global Give-a-Book, Inc.).
Here is the link to the presentations from Dave Simon (New Mexico BioPark Society) and Brad Ekhoff (Beds4Kidz).
Second, we have the four charity application submittals (several of them contain financial information...the important part for the vote is the responses to the first eight questions). Clink on the links below to review the applications.

2. At our last Club meeting, besides several of the charity presentations, we were honored to have two of our most active and extraordinary members receive recognition: Shirley Anderson, who was the most recent recipient of our Del Sol pin, which designates the highest level of donation to our Del Sol Foundation; and Jacqueline Hockey, who was our Rotarian of the Day! You are both amazing, and we are continually reminded of how important you are to our Club!
3. November Birthdays and other dates to celebrate, support each other, etc.
November Birthdays!
Bruce Bortner - November 11th
Julie Frendle - November 13th

Brad Ekhoff - November 18th

We are all in this together!
Rotary Happenings
November is Rotary Foundation Month. Our Club has been and continues to be one of the most supportive Clubs of the Rotary Foundation in our District, not just in our financial support but also in our use of the Foundation to support our District and Global Grants.
District Happenings
1. District Governor John Drusedum's blood drive challenge is still in effect through January 31st. The goal is a total of 1000 units collected ("1000 Pints of Life"). Last year, the District gave out four Paul Harris Awards, and will do it again this year for the clubs with most pints donated. More information on the Blood Drive Challenge can be found here:
documents/en-us/d1f076f4-1ea7-421c-abaa-df7d0e043a7d/1).
2. On November 19th, the District will be having another installment of the Rotary Leadership Institute. If you are new to Rotary or interested in getting into Rotary Leadership, please consider attending. This will be Part 2, but you can attend if you have not taken Part 1 yet.
