THIS WEEK IN ROTARY
Del Sol Rotarians, Hope you had a Peaceful and Joyous Christmas!
This last week there were two Del Sol Events, both on Tuesday, December 21.
At 7:30 AM on ZOOM the RDS Board held its regular December Meeting. Chris Van Dyck reported on the results of the Ramps survey which showed that most members wanted to do the Ramp Build and Installation on Saturdays in the coming year. Chris also reported that Phil De Berardinis has stepped up to Lance Ellis place in the Ramp Build Program.
The major item on the agenda at the Board Meeting was the proposal by Fundraising Chair Tony Pino to change the Charity for the 2022 Rotary Charity Ball from the RYLA Foundation to New Mexico Child First Network. He proposed the change because there probably won't be a RYLA camp this year due to COVID issues. The Board agreed and submitted the proposed change to the membership which also agreed to the change.
Tuesday evening at 5:30PM via ZOOM the Satellite Meeting featured Debbie Vance as the speaker reporting on her work providing graphics for Rotary International and the Rotary Foundation.
There was no Morning Meeting last week.
On Thursday, December 30, 2021 the Morning Meeting for All Del Rotarians will feature Joe O'Neill, President of ESPN Radio 101.7 THE TEAM as the guest speaker. Let's have a great turnout for the last meeting of 2021 at Jimmy's Cafe and ZOOM.
We wish you all a very Happy and Peaceful New Year
Lets all have a Great week in Rotary putting Service above Self.
