We recently completed another successful wheelchair ramp build—this time for a local woman who had been unable to safely access her own home. With the summer heat in full swing, our volunteers showed up with tools, teamwork, and heart to get the job done.
This ramp is one of several we've helped build this year with the support of a Rotary District 5520 grant. These projects are a powerful example of how Rotary changes lives through hands-on service.

At Our Meeting Last Week: Neighborhood AED
Did you know that starting an CPR and using AED within the first 10 minutes after a cardiac arrest increases your chances of survival from 5% to 70%. At our Thursday meeting, we heard from Kevin Frick (and old friend of Bruce Shaffer and Brad Ekhoff's daughter's father in law) who shared how he spearheaded a community project to get an AED in his neighborhood.
Our Foundation annual meeting will be held at this week's club meeting. At the meeting, we'll be confirming two new Foundation board members. The following Rotarians are currently nominated to serve. Since there are two nominees, we will confirm our nominees at the meeting.
