On May 26, 2022 at the Morning Meeting for All Del Sol Rotarians, Colonel Brian Vlaun, USAF was the speaker in honor of he Memorial Day Holiday. Colonel Vlaun is the Commander of the Air Force Inspection Agency at  Kirkland Air Force base.  Previously in his career he was a career bomber piloted and  a graduate of the Air Force Academy.

 

He told us that this is the 75th Anniversary of the Inspection Agency and described the various functions of he Agency. He said that they have 30 medical inspectors and also do Nuclear Inspections.  They do all inspections for the Air Force Inspector General to whom they report.

 

He said part of the mission is to support high end readiness of the Air Force. It was  a very interesting presentation by a very good speaker.

 

 

 

On Thursday we also  learned from Phil De Berardinis that there will be another Ramp Build June 12, 2022 and Greg Hailstorm said that there will be a Ramp Module  Build on June 1 and that they will build 17 modules.

 

Tony Pino reported on the Charity Ball that raised over $100000 for the two named charities and the two club foundations.  

 

Ed Robertson reported that the July Freeloaders  will be at Jacqueline Hockey's home on July 16.
