On July 18 at the Regular Thursday Meeting, Donna Pedace of Rotary Del Norte Introduced a group of Texas Rotarians as Part of the Rotary Friendship Exchange Program.  The RFE   team from Texas was the program of the day.  They each spoke about their Rotary Club and their town which was informative for Del Sol Rotarians, many of whom have had little exposure to West Texas.

Last Tuesday, July 16, at 7:00AM at Jimmy's Cafe, President Dave Simon convened his first Board Meeting. A lively discussion was had on a number of topics of interest for the new Rotary year.

 

Tomorrow from 6:00PM-8:00PM there will be a Pints for Polio Planning Meeting at Nexus Silver Taproom.  All members who want to work the "Pints" event are welcome to attend.

 

Thursday' s Regular Meeting at Meals on Wheels will feature Tony Pino doing a Club Assembly with an update on the 2020 Governors Ball for New Mexico Children, He will outline the new Joint Venture Agreement with Rotary Of Albuquerque.

 

Club Secretary Herman Haase is closing the books on attendance and Service Projects for the last Rotary Year.  So if you have a Makeup you forgot or a service activity that you did not submit, please do so ASAP so Herman can give you credit for the attendance and so that the event itself can be entered into Rotary Club Central.
