On May 5 at the Morning Meeting for All Del Sol Rotarians, Cindy Chavez was inducted as our 61st Active  Member.  Her sponsor is Ron Hensley who was assisted in the Induction Ceremony by President Brad Ekhoff, Vice President Herman Haase, Membership Chair Kit Turpen and Mark Abramson.

 

President Elect Jeff Weinrach spoke on the 3 year Strategic Plan.

 

Among items discussed 1. Membership- Net gain of 5 over 3 years; 2. Position in District-Be in top 5 Clubs in District 5520 and Rotary Foundation Giving; 3.Service-Increase service hours by at least 10%; 4-Public Image-Increase Effectiveness; 5. New Generations-Increase Number and Diversity of Youth Service; Club Administration-Improve Operations and have at least one Club Assembly a quarter; 7.Fundraising-Be Proactive.

 

 

Ron Hensley reported on the Rotary Charity Ball and said so far the gross looks to be in the $150000-160000 range. Costs are not available yet so we wont know the net for awhile.

 

Phil DeBerardinis announced that the next Ramp Build will be on May 14 from 8:00AM -2:00PM

This Thursday at 7:00AM at Jimmy's Cafe and on ZOOM there will be a Morning Meeting for All Del Sol Rotarians.  Admin Chair  Dave Simon says the program is yet to be determined.  A followup bulletin will be published once the program is known.
